Came in on a Friday to catch up with a friend; the cruddy Top 40 dance pop was so loud we could barely hear each other shout across the table. Despite claiming to be a craft brew centric bar, the waitresses (whom I heavily suspect were hired solely based on their appearance) did not know the name of a single beer on tap, instead insisting we refer to its number on the list card, of which there were precious few. Ended up having to get the same beer twice because I didn't memorize the numbers of the others and shouldn't have had to. Most of the back wall is taken up by several cooler doors of package-goods local craft beers, which were sold at easily 150% the price of the exact same beers available from the Super Buy Rite less than a minute walk down the road. The industrial-chic decor and low, multicolored lighting lead me to believe the owner is trying to dress this place up as some kind of hip downtown NYC or Philly bar which is pretty silly considering it's on Route 33 outside of Trenton.

I hosted my husband's surprise birthday party at Blend this weekend and it was the most amazing experience we could have asked for. In the beginning stages of planning Antonio and his team were so incredibly helpful. They accommodated every single request and went above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Before the party started I arrived about 90 minutes early to set-up. They section was already reserved for me and the staff helped me with everything I needed. The bar manager came and introduced himself as well, which so very sweet. During the actual party our dedicated waitress was kind, quick, patient and attentive to our entire group of 30 people. The food was delicious, the beer and drink selection was amazing and everyone had a blast. Prices were very fair. I would 100% recommend Blend to anyone looking to host a private event, or simply for just a good dinner and some drinks. Thank you all SO much!
